Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled Documentum D2 Configuration Specialist in Pune to design, configure, and support enterprise ECM solutions. You will work on D2 configuration, workflows, and system administration in regulated environments.

You will configure D2 applications, manage implementations, develop configurations, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. You will also ensure compliance and provide user training and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with workflow automation and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Documentum D2 applications including cabinets, metadata, lifecycles, and workflows.
• Manage and support Documentum D2 (ECM Platform) implementations across business units.
• Develop and maintain D2 configurations, UI layouts, and business rules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user roles, permissions, and access management.
• Support workflow automation and document lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot performance and system issues, ensuring timely resolution. Perform upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, where applicable).
• Integrate Documentum with other enterprise applications (ERP, QMS, etc.).
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing support.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have expertise in D2 configuration, workflow automation, and system administration within regulated or enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Documentum D2 applications including cabinets, metadata, lifecycles, and workflows
• Manage and support Documentum D2 (ECM Platform) implementations across business units
• Develop and maintain D2 configurations, UI layouts, and business rules
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform system administration tasks such as user roles, permissions, and access management
• Support workflow automation and document lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot performance and system issues, ensuring timely resolutionPerform upgrades, patches, and system enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Documentum upgrades and migrations
• Exposure to integration technologies (REST APIs, Web Services)
• Knowledge of database systems (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Familiarity with regulated environments (Pharma, Life Sciences, BFSI)
• Certification in OpenText Documentum (preferred)
• Experience with other ECM tools (SharePoint, OpenText Content Suite, etc.)
