Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Technical Lead/Data Engineer focused on dashboarding and reporting within risk management. You will work with Paris teams on design, coding, and deployment using SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, Power BI services, and Azure/Databricks.

The role requires strong data engineering and MS BI skills, plus experience with SQL Server, AGILE practices, and banking domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong in Visualization tools Azure/Databricks, Data engineering, POWER-BI services and MS-BI
• Strong coding skills in SSRS, SSAS, Databricks (with SSAS Tabular Knowledge), and MS SQL Server
• Control-M scheduling tool, GitHub versioning, and basic DBA concepts
• Banking domain knowledge and AGILE practices

Responsibilities

• Developer for the technical design, programming, implementation, documentation, and maintenance with SSRS, SSAS (with SSAS Tabular Knowledge), SSIS, Power BI services, data engineering, Azure/Databricks experience is must.
• Participate in implementation, including maintenance, user allocation, file design, coding, error removal, logic optimization, systems re-evaluation, testing, final corrections, and program and run time documentation.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues. Trace data/logic and report back on root cause.
• Synchronize development/production environments.
• Guarantee best practice and quality of the code of the whole team.
• Organize and optimize/industrialize the process of development.
• Propose technical solutions.
• Participate to the construction of the technical infrastructure when needed.
• Ensures a technological watch and demonstrates an interest for the Compliance business
• Should have basic understanding of Agile Methodology

Job description:

As a technical developer, you’ll be involved on one or more projects concerning Dashboarding and reporting in the area of risk management.
