Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a D365 F&O Technical resource to design and deliver complex Dynamics 365 F&O projects for clients. This role involves solution architecture, deployments, and managing client expectations as the project Application Lead.

You will work with MS Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations, Dataverse, and Power Platform, leveraging CI/CD practices with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and related tools. Strong English communication and a passion for learning are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP technical domain.
• Familiarity with Dataverse and Power Platform advantageous.
• Strong requirements gathering with X++, C#, Visual Studio knowledge.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps; GitHub for repositories.
• D365FO concepts: Extensions, COC, OData/Logic Apps; AI tools.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Microsoft Certifications MB-200, MB-300 & MB-500.

Job description

• Support incident management for the support team, ensuring robust troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Ability to support and resolve incidents effectively for the support team
• This role is joint Application Management Service (support) team and project implementation
• Adhere to project timelines, ensuring no deadlines are missed, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability to estimate, design, customize, and develop customer-specific requirements.
• Work closely with Functional Consultants to design MS Dynamics 365 F&O technical solutions.
• Review and create functional and technical design documents (TDD) with high quality and set standards.
• Experience with system upgrades, Life Cycle Services (LCS), code deployment, code merging and system optimizations.
• In-depth knowledge of System Administration, Security Roles, and AI-based predictive analytics for identifying system issues.
• Delivering/participating in client workshop
• Proactively analyze and gather business needs in collaboration with business leaders.
• Ensure high-quality documentation is created and managed according to project standards.
• Adhere to SDLC and Agile methodologies while preparing Technical Design Documents.
• Guide and mentor junior developers effectively.
• Proactive and continuous learning on the latest Microsoft release
• Periodic help and contributing on the pre-sales technical questions and response
• Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science Engineering Specialization.
• The candidate should have minimum 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP technical domain

Mandatory technical & functional skills

• Deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations.
• Familiarity with Dataverse and Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous.
• Strong technical requirements gathering skills with demonstrable experience.
• Proficient in using tools like X++, C#, Visual Studio, and version control systems.
• Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies, ideally using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge on GitHub for the code repository
• Capable of operating independently and transitioning into a more scope-based development model.
• Knowledge of D365 FO concepts such as Extensions, COC, OData/Logic Apps integrations, and AI-powered tools.
• Understanding of D365FO and Power Platform's role within broader digital ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI services and tools such as Azure Cognitive Services, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Results-oriented with a client-centric attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills and a passion for learning and development.
• Solid understanding of software engineering practices in enterprise environments with D365FO.
• A genuine interest in D365FO and the Power Platform, with awareness of their strengths, limitations, and how they fit into broader digital ecosystems.
• Knowledge of other Microsoft services such as Azure and AI is a strong advantage.
