Job summary

Allianz Technology is seeking an experienced Senior AI Developer to design, build, and run AI-driven solutions across our application landscape. You will connect AI tools to internal systems using MCP and orchestrate workflows with n8n, while exploring SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and GIAM capabilities.

Collaboration with cross-functional and international teams will be key, ensuring secure, scalable AI deployments.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in building AI-powered applications, agents, and intelligent automations, ready to design, build and run AI-driven solutions across our application landscape at Allianz Technology.

You will …

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, agents, and automations that support business processes across multiple domains.
• Apply Model Context Protocol (MCP) concepts to connect AI tools and agents to internal systems in a secure, controlled manner.
• Use n8n (or similar workflow automation tooling) to build and orchestrate AI-driven workflows, combining LLM reasoning with business logic.
• Explore AI use cases within SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM), and contribute to automation and intelligent-decisioning initiatives.
• Support end‑to‑end delivery of AI solutions, from prototyping through testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Contribute to the technical design and documentation of AI initiatives, keeping it aligned with the overall Allianz Technology landscape.
• Support IT risk assessments, responsible‑AI reviews, and alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Stay curious about the fast‑moving AI ecosystem and bring new tools and techniques into the team’s practice.

Your Skills

• Hands‑on experience building AI‑powered applications, automations, or agents, with around 7–10 years of overall software/solution development experience.
• Working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI‑agent integration approaches.
• Practical experience with n8n or similar workflow automation/orchestration platforms.
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors, with a working understanding of core HR processes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, including its workflow and automation capabilities.
• Familiarity with Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) concepts and interest in AI‑enhanced IAM capabilities.
• Solid understanding of API integration, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, SSO), and secure design practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in AI‑driven solutions.
• Ability to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way, with attention to cost‑effective and secure design choices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven experience across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
