Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks an experienced Technical Lead – Integration Developer to design, build and run robust CPI-based integration solutions across our application landscape. You will lead end-to-end integration projects and implement adapters ensuring secure, scalable interfaces.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive best practices in iFlow design and API management, and mentor developers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in integration development with SAP CPI/SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience designing and implementing integration flows (iFlows) and adapters (SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP).
• Strong understanding of middleware concepts and API management.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Integration Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) as your main skill, ready to design, build and run robust integration solutions across our application landscape at Allianz Technology.

You will …

• Design, develop, and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI, covering both cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise scenarios.
• Analyse integration requirements together with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders, and translate them into scalable, maintainable interface designs.
• Implement and configure adapters (e.g. SOAP, REST/OData, IDoc, SFTP, JMS, Mail) and apply mapping, routing, and error-handling patterns following integration best practices.
• Support end-to-end testing, deployment, and monitoring of integration content, ensuring performance, security, and reliability of interfaces in production.
• Contribute to the integration architecture and documentation (e.g. interface catalogues, sequence diagrams), keeping it aligned with the overall Allianz Technology landscape.
• Support IT risk assessments, compliance reviews, and alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards to avoid technical debt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Familiarity with basic AI tools is considered an advantage.

Your Skills

• SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) as your main and primary skill, with around 8 years of relevant experience in integration development (AGS level 8), including solid knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, iFlow design, and adapter configuration.
• Solid understanding of integration methodologies, middleware concepts, and API management (e.g. SAP API Management or similar).
• Experience with additional integration or connectivity technologies (e.g. Process Orchestration/PI-PO, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex interface issues.
• Ability to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way, with attention to cost-effective and secure design choices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven experience across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Familiarity with basic AI tools is considered an advantage.
