Job summary

Careernet in Pune is seeking a senior software engineer to translate business requirements into technical specifications for post-trade and banking operations, and to develop, enhance and support financial calculation and transaction processing applications.

You will lead modernization efforts, enforce coding standards, and mentor engineers while owning incident triage, production stability, and runbook improvements to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant software engineering experience, including substantial exposure to financial services or banking technology.
• Strong hands-on experience with C programming and software development in large, complex application environments.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, schema design, data relationship modelling and query tuning.
• Experience with investment banking, banking operations, retail banking, corporate or institutional banking, transaction banking or related financial-services domains.
• Ability to design and support complicated process flows, transaction-processing applications, integrations and scheduled operational workflows.
