Job summary

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Technical Lead to oversee axle-related activities, drive projects from inception to implementation, and develop robust test programs for axle aggregates and components.

You will guide a team of test engineers, ensure rigorous validation, and coordinate with global teams to correlate RLDA, CAE, and bench tests for accurate results. The role requires 8–12 years in axle development or testing, strong project management, and a hands-on engineering

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical/Production/Automobile/Mechatronics or equivalent
• 8–12 years of axle development, testing or design
• Functional awareness and design competency of axle components and their functions
• Strong project management skills and ability to steer projects with mitigation plans
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical aspects clearly
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel internationally and interact with global counterparts
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for axle components and test methods
• Experience collaborating with test bench suppliers and agencies for test setup and concept development

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing
• Steer cross-functional teams and projects, adhering to timelines and managing risks effectively
