Job summary

Allianz Technology is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to evolve the API management platform on Apigee Hybrid in AWS, with strong Linux and multi-cloud operations experience. The role emphasizes GitOps with ArgoCD, Crossplane and GitHub Actions, plus automation across AWS/Azure.

The ideal candidate will have 8–15 years in cloud DevOps, proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform/Helm, and scripting to enable scalable, secure platforms. On-site Pune location with global collaboration is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/B-Tech/B-E or equivalent
• Red Hat or other Linux based system administration certifications
• Architecture/SysOps AWS certifications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Define/improve platform topology infrastructure
• Provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure defined as code
• Ensure configuration and compliance with corporate tools and policies
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
• Support problem troubleshooting across diverse systems communicating via cloud and on-premise networks
• Build and maintain operational tools for monitoring in cloud infrastructure and systems (e.g., CloudWatch)

Senior cloud DevOps Engineer in IT infrastructure in AWS, with capabilities to operate and evolve the current platform architecture for the API management platform based on Apigee Hybrid by Google deployed in AWS. The ideal candidate should have large experience in linux and multi cloud system operations, as well as devops experience with gitops approach tools like ARGOCD, CROSSPLANE and Github Actions

Major Responsibilities

Professional with expertise in

cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on multicloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)

• Work collaboratively to define/improve platform topology infrastructure
• Provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure defined as code
• Ensure configuration and compliance with corporate tools and policies
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
• Support to problem troubleshooting across a wide array of systems that communicate through cloud and on-premise network architectures
• Build and maintain operational tools for monitoring and analyzing of cloud infrastructure and systems (e.g. CloudWatch)

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor/B-Tech/B-E
• Certifications in Red Hat or other Linux based system administration.
• Architecture / SysOps AWS Certifications is a plus

Experience

• 8 to 15 Years

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Professional with expertise in

• CI/CD state-of-the-art best practices, experience with setting up and maintaining build and deployment pipelines
• CD technologies, especially geared towards Kubernetes and public cloud, like ArgoCD, Crossplane
• Container (orchestration) technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker
• Cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
• Infrastructure as Code technologies, especially Terraform and Helm
• Software development and scripting languages, to provide automation and self-service tooling
• Various automation frameworks, regarding build, test, integration and deployment, including Jenkins automation server 8. Git, especially GitHub

Functional/Domain Knowledge (If Required)

• The Multi Cloud Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer will work within the Multi Cloud engineering team to build automation services from conception to operations.
• Will work with global teams to deliver high quality products and ensure engineering and operational deliverables.
• Self-motivation to keep up with technological advances and trends.
• Capabilities to obtain results under simultaneous time and task limitations.
• Ability to deal with complex system and network structures distributed in several countries
