Job summary

Aptiv in Bengaluru seeks a Technical Lead for Autosare, BSW, CAN and Diagnostics to drive embedded software development for radar-based safety products. The role emphasizes Autosar architectures in multicore environments and ASPICE-compliant processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own SW lifecycle stages, model Autosar configurations, and ensure high-quality design, coding and testing across the project stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Communication/Instrumentation/CS (regular education).
• 8–10 years of experience in embedded software for automotive domains.
• Autosar Basic Software: CAN and Diagnostics experience is MUST.
• Boot loader experience is MUST.
• MCAL integration experience.
• ADAS exposure with radar products is desirable.
• Cysec and FuSa knowledge beneficial.
• Strong embedded C on 16/32-bit MCUs.

Responsibilities

• ADAS product development experience (Radar/Camera preferred).
• Autosar-based Embedded Software Development for safety products with ASPICE compliance.
• Responsible for all SW development life cycle phases.
• Requirement analysis, design, coding and testing/verification.
• Autosar modeling and system configuration (SWC, connectors).
• Setup and configure Autosar BSW Modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products.
• Identify and resolve SW issues with ownership.

Technical Lead - Autosare, BSW, CAN and Diagnostics

Your role

• Develop Radar product based Embedded SW development for safety products to be used in various global OEM vehicle
• Define and/or optimize Autosar based SW Architectures in multicore environment
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for day-to-day activities
• Debugging Skills & Issue Resolution with ownership
• Manage your time effectively against your targets
• Adhere to Company's Policies and Procedures, Emphasize and Support Continuous Process Improvement
• Work in an agile development environment
• Work in an agile development environment

Your Background Essential

• Preferred Educational Background is Bachelors in engineering -Electronics / Communication/ Instrumentation /Computer Science (Regular education)
• Should have minimum 8 to 10 Years experience
• Classic Autosar Basic Software working experience especially CAN, Diagnostics is MUST
• Boot loader working experience is MUST
• MCAL Working/Integration experience
• ADAS working experience(Especially Radar product)
• Cysec and FuSa knowledge
• ASPICE working experience is MUST
• Sound understanding of embedded SW development using C on 16/32 bit microcontrollers

Duties & Responsibilities’ :

• Responsible for all SW development life cycle phases
• Requirement Analysis, Design, Coding & Testing/Verification

• Work with various competencies in developing products
• Analysis and systematic problem solving for SW reported issues
