Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Technical Lead - AI to steer discovery, architecture, and hands-on delivery of enterprise AI solutions. You will translate business challenges into prioritized AI roadmaps, design secure cloud-native platforms, and mentor engineering teams to build GenAI, RAG, and multi-agent workflows.

The role demands 10+ years in software engineering and 3+ years architecting production GenAI/LLM solutions, with deep Python, API, and cloud skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture or related field.
• 3+ years architecting and deploying production GenAI/LLM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and RAG architectures.

Along the way, you will get to:Lead design-thinking and discovery workshops to identify workflow friction, prioritize high-value AI opportunities, and define measurable outcomes.Design and deliver production-grade GenAI, RAG, Agentic RAG, tool-calling, and multi-agent solutions, including context-aware workflows and memory patterns.Architect secure cloud-native AI platforms, APIs, microservices, integrations, CI/CD, observability, evaluation, and performance optimization.Embed Responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance into delivery while mentoring engineering teams and building applied AI capability.What we’re looking for10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, platform engineering, or a related discipline, including 3+ years architecting and deploying production GenAI or LLM solutions.Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM architecture, RAG, multi-agent systems, context engineering, AI evaluation, and frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.Expert Python, API, microservices, and cloud-native engineering skills, with experience in Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Microsoft Graph, or Copilot Studio.Strong executive communication, facilitation, architecture leadership, and problem-solving skills, plus a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.What you can expectWe’re legendary for taking care of you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
