Job summary

Insight in Gurugram is seeking a Technical Lead - AI to drive discovery, architecture, and hands-on delivery of enterprise AI solutions, including GenAI, RAG, and multi-agent workflows.

You will guide AI roadmaps, secure scalable architectures, mentor engineers, and ensure governance, security, and Responsible AI across projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, platform engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years architecting and deploying production GenAI or LLM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, architecture, and hands-on delivery of enterprise AI solutions including GenAI, RAG, and multi-agent workflows.

About the role

As a Technical Lead - AI, you will lead discovery, architecture, and hands-on delivery of enterprise AI solutions that combine business transformation, GenAI architecture, agentic systems, platform engineering, and governance. We will count on you to translate business challenges into prioritized AI roadmaps, secure solution architectures, reusable engineering patterns, and measurable business outcomes. Along the way, you will get to:

Lead design-thinking and discovery workshops to identify workflow friction, prioritize high-value AI opportunities, and define measurable outcomes.

Design and deliver production-grade GenAI, RAG, Agentic RAG, tool-calling, and multi-agent solutions, including context-aware workflows and memory patterns.

Architect secure cloud-native AI platforms, APIs, microservices, integrations, CI/CD, observability, evaluation, and performance optimization.

Embed Responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance into delivery while mentoring engineering teams and building applied AI capability.

What we’re looking for

10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, platform engineering, or a related discipline, including 3+ years architecting and deploying production GenAI or LLM solutions.

Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM architecture, RAG, multi-agent systems, context engineering, AI evaluation, and frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.

Expert Python, API, microservices, and cloud-native engineering skills, with experience in Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Microsoft Graph, or Copilot Studio.

Strong executive communication, facilitation, architecture leadership, and problem-solving skills, plus a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
