Job summary

PwC India, a leading professional services firm, seeks a Senior Associate SAP CPI in Enterprise App Advisory to implement and support SAP CPI solutions across India. You will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end integration flows, work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs, and ensure secure, scalable integration architecture.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform testing, and contribute to ongoing operational support for existing SAP CPI

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and developing SAP CPI iFlows.
• Experience configuring adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JMS).
• Proficiency in Groovy and JavaScript for mappings and transformations.
• Knowledge of HTTP, REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JMS protocols.
• Security-conscious with authentication methods (OAuth, Basic, Certificates, SAML).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Integration Design & Development: end-to-end SAP CPI iFlow design and deployment.
• Requirement gathering with stakeholders and mapping to technical specs.
• Configure adapters to enable cross-system connectivity.
• Data transformation using graphical mapping, Groovy, and JavaScript.
• Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of integration issues.
• Documentation of design and technical artefacts.
• Apply secure integration best practices and authentication methods.
• Testing and support across unit, integration, and UAT phases.

Responsibilities

• Integration Design & Development: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end integration solutions and iFlows within the SAP CPI Web UI.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate integration requirements into technical specifications.
• Configuration: Configure and manage various adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JMS, etc.) to facilitate connectivity between different systems.
• Data Transformation: Handle complex message transformations using graphical mapping, Groovy, and JavaScript scripting.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor integration processes, perform root cause analysis for issues, and develop solutions to resolve them.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical and functional design documents for integration solutions.
• Security & Best Practices: Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Basic, Certificates, SAML) and apply best practices for secure, scalable, and efficient integration architecture.
• Testing & Support: Perform unit testing, support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide ongoing support for existing integrations.

• SAP CPI (Integration Suite): Advanced proficiency and hands-on experience in designing and developing iFlows .
• Adapters: Expertise in configuring various standard and custom adapters.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Groovy and JavaScript for message mapping and transformations .
• Protocols: Experience with integration protocols such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, and JMS.
• Security: Knowledge of setting up and managing secure integration scenarios and authentication.
• Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to perform root cause analysis and resolve integration issues.
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
• Project Experience: Experience in implementing and supporting integration solutions for at least two full project life cycles.
