Job summary

BHS Corrugated Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH in Pune, India, seeks an experienced SAP integration specialist to design, develop, and operate our enterprise integration landscape, connecting SAP and non-SAP applications and ensuring secure data exchange across global business systems.

You will build and optimize integration flows with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and SAP BTP, collaborate with SAP consultants and developers, and drive reliable, scalable interfaces for S/4HANA and cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience with SAP Process Integration (SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI).
3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite.
Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
Excellent knowledge of SAP Integration Suite services, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, and Integration Advisor.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite.
Develop and enhance integration flows (iFlows) for SAP and non-SAP applications.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
Design synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios.
Develop APIs and event-driven integration architectures.
Configure and manage SAP API Management and Integration Suite services.
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot productive integration flows.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve interface incidents.
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of the integration landscape.
Support transports, deployment, version management, and lifecycle management of integration artifacts.
Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business departments.
Participate in integration architecture discussions and define best practices.
Support integration projects in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, cloud apps, and third-party systems.
Create and maintain technical documentation and interface specifications.
Continuously optimize existing interfaces and identify automation opportunities.

Job description

You will become part of our global in-house SAP IT team and play a key role in designing, developing, and operating our enterprise integration landscape. You will be responsible for connecting SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange across our global business systems. In addition to developing new integrations, you will support the operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our existing integration platform.

Your future responsibilities include

Design, develop, and maintain integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite

Your professional and personal profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
5+ years of experience with SAP Process Integration (SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI)
3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite
Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
Excellent knowledge of SAP Integration Suite services, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors (preferred), Event Mesh (preferred), and Integration Advisor (preferred)
Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration architectures
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, XML, JSON, XSLT, and SFTP
Experience with API design and secure communication concepts (OAuth, JWT, certificates, TLS)
Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with cloud and third-party applications
Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills for productive interfaces
Experience with message monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization
Knowledge of transport management and deployment concepts within SAP BTP
Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence is beneficial
Basic knowledge of SAP Basis administration (system connectivity, certificates, destinations, transport management, communication users) is desirable
Basic understanding of SAP authorization concepts and security is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in an international environment
Excellent written and spoken English
