Job summary

Infobeans is seeking a MEAN Tech Lead with strong SQL to own and guide a key HR delegation platform. You will lead 4-5 engineers, drive architecture decisions, and ensure high-performance data handling and application health.

The role combines hands-on coding with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, and relational databases, plus the ability to translate complex domain rules into clear technical specs.

Qualifications

• Leadership of a 4-5 engineer team and technical ownership of the platform.
• Experience with MEAN stack including Angular v21/v22 and Node.js v22/v24 LTS.
• Strong SQL expertise with relational databases and MongoDB experience.
• Ability to translate HR delegation rules into technical specs.

Job Description - Technical Lead MEAN Stack & SQL

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MEAN Tech Lead with strong SQL expertise to take technical ownership of enterprise People Management & Employee Delegation platform.

In this role, you will quickly ramp up on complex domain workflows, direct technical implementation, and lead a dedicated team of 4-5 engineers to deliver high-performing platform updates, optimize data architecture, and maintain overall application health.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Ownership & Knowledge Transfer: Take comprehensive technical handover of the enterprise platform, becoming the internal subject matter expert on system workflows and architecture.
2. Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and manage a team of 4-5 full-stack developers through technical guidance, sprint execution, and code reviews.
3. Database & Query Optimization: Architect, optimize, and maintain high-volume SQL schemas and MongoDB databases to ensure data consistency and query performance.
4. System Health & Continuous Delivery: Drive technical excellence, enforce clean code standards, and ensure high operational stability across all application layers.
5. Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with product teams and business analysts to translate complex HR delegation rules into clean technical specifications.

Technical Qualifications

Frontend & Backend Stack

1. Angular: Expertise in modern Angular (v21/v22), including standalone components, Signals, Reactive Forms, RxJS, and state management.
2. Node.js: Strong backend experience with Node.js (v22/v24 LTS) and Express.js, building performant RESTful APIs and microservices.

Databases & Architecture

1. SQL Mastery: Advanced proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server)—including complex query writing, indexing strategies, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
2. NoSQL: Hands-on experience working with MongoDB (aggregations, indexing, schema design).
3. Code Navigation: Proven ability to quickly analyze, debug, and navigate existing enterprise codebases.
4. Testing & Tools: Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Vitest, Jest), Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

Non-Technical & Domain Skills

1. Rapid Domain Acquisition: Ability to swiftly absorb complex domain logic around organizational hierarchies, access control levels, and approval delegations.
2. Mentorship & Communication: Strong leadership skills to elevate junior/mid-level engineers and clearly articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
