We are looking for a 10+ years of experience, with proven exposure to solution / software architectureresponsibilitiesWe are evolving this role from a pure development position into a Solution Architect role. We arelooking for a self-driven, coding-passionate engineer who takes true ownership of the solution, leads by example, and proactively shapes the architecture and technical direction of our product.
Architecture & Technical Ownership:
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture — design, evolve and safeguard a clean, modular and cross-platform architecture (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android).
- Translate product and business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions and a clear architecture roadmap.
- Proactively identify architectural risks, technical debt and improvement opportunities, and drive their resolution.
- Act as the technical decision-maker and escalation point for architecture-level questions within the team.
Hands-on Development:
- Development and maintenance of applications in C#— staying hands-on and coding alongside the team, not just designing on paper.
- Participation in driving our test strategy forward.
- Participation in designing and maintaining our development eco-system, as well as our CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/Jenkins to automate build, test and release processes.
- Evaluation and documentation of libraries/frameworks/tools, and creation of development guidelines and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, raising the team's architectural maturity.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a stable and efficient development workflow to achieve a high quality of our software artefacts.
- Champion a culture of ownership, quality, and proactive problem-solving across the team.
Qualification:
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
Technical Skills (unchanged core requirements):
- Strong proficiency in C# and experienced in designing and implementing user interfaces using Windows Presentation Foundation (experience in cross-platform frameworks like Avalonia is a plus).
- Python is a plus, as is the openness to learning new programming languages.
- Experience in Design Patterns in Software Architectureis appreciated — for a Solution Architect this is a strong differentiator.
- Experience in test automation, preferably using Ranorex, is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines for multiple target systems.
- Confident use of common IDEs like JetBrains Rider, VSCode or similar.
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus).
Architecture-Level Additions:
- Demonstrated experience designing solution/software architecture for cross-platform, multi-target systems.
- Ability to balance pragmatic delivery with long-term architectural vision.
- Familiarity with enterprise/solution architecture practices (e.g. C4 model, ADRs, architecture reviews) is a plus.
- Self-driven and proactive — takes initiative without waiting to be told, and anticipates problems before they arise.
- Genuine passion for coding — stays hands-on and technically credible, not purely a design-on-paper architect.
- Strong sense of ownership — treats the solution as their own, end-to-end, from design to production quality.
- Leadership mindset — leads by example, mentors others, and influences technical direction even without formal authority.
- Open-minded, willing to learn and forward-looking attitude.
- Curious and scrutinizes the status quo.
- Not afraid to put forward ideas and suggestions.
- Analytical thinking, structured approach, and team-oriented mindset.
- Security-focused and test-driven development attitude.

- Change to cross-platform development: C# for Win, Linux, Web, Google Android, Apple iOS.
