Smith+ Nephew plc in Bangalore, India seeks a Technical Field Specialist – Recon to train and qualify robotic users, work with Orthopaedic Sales teams, and provide ongoing servicing and troubleshooting. You will build relationships with surgeons, nurses and OR staff, and support business development to expand the robotic technology footprint.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree with 2-7 years of relevant industry experience in orthopedics, strong communication skills, and readiness

Qualifications

• Graduate with minimum 2-7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in Orthopedics industry.
• Should have the requisite knowledge about Orthopedic Devices.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Self-driven and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to targeted accounts: surgeons, nurses, OR staff, admin.
• Provide daily technical support to existing robotic users.
• Responsible for per-operative troubleshooting and servicing.
• Generate and qualify new robotic leads in the market.
• Deliver sawbones workshop training.
• Assist with installation of the robotic system for new accounts.
• Demonstrate the technology at major congresses.

Technical Field Specialist – Recon -Bangalore, India Life Unlimited.

The Robotic Technical Field Specialist is responsible for training and qualifying all future potential robotic users. The person will be accountable to develop proven relationships with the Robotic users, nurses and OR team in the existing and future robotic centres. The Technical Field Specialist will work closely with Orthopaedic Sales teams to build and generate new interests in order to increase our market shares in the field. The person will be responsible and in charge to provide servicing support and handle any troubleshooting aspects which could happen during the usage of the robotic technology. We are seeking for someone with an ambitious spirit, passion for technical and innovative technology. In this key position, the ideal candidate will work closely with the orthopaedic surgeons, sales team, and product management teams to achieve established sales goals and implement business development initiatives that improve and grow the robotic technology footprint.

What will you be doing?

• Provide training to targeted account; surgeons, nurses, OR staff, admin
• Provide daily technical support to existing robotic users
• In charge of providing proven servicing in case of per-operative troubleshooting
• Responsibility for generating and qualifying new robotic leads in the market
• Delivering outstanding sawbones workshop training
