Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Navi Mumbai to research, design, and develop mechanical products and systems used in energy production, transmission, and measurement. This role is tailored for early-career professionals applying broad theoretical knowledge and collaborating with senior engineers.

Responsibilities include producing technical documentation, supporting LEAN/ESH programs, and contributing to product data management. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically, a university degree (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience are minimally required.
• Knowledge of industry practices and International standards.
• Knowledge of Publishing tools (Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, IXIASOFT).
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act independently.
• Excellent English skills (written and verbal).

• Development and updates of product technical documentation of flow equipment.
• Administer technical documentation revision control and archiving in Product Data Management system.
• Training material creation and publishing.

• Supports, cooperates with and participates in LEAN and ESH Management System policies.

About the role

Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for researching, planning, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems. This includes instruments, controls, engines, and machines used in energy production, transmission, and measurement. This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyze problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: small, medium, large organization.
