Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager GCP Cloud to lead large-scale cloud transformation, migration, and modernization programs, driving end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

You will own discovery through transition to operations, review architectures, govern migrations, and ensure business outcomes with emphasis on data privacy, security, and responsible AI.

Qualifications

• 9–14 years IT delivery experience, including 5+ years leading large cloud transformation, modernization, or migration programmes.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders, and program execution using Agile & Hybrid methodologies.
• Knowledge of GCP resource hierarchy (organizations, folders, projects), IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Cloud KMS, and backup/DR concepts.
• Familiarity with migration strategy patterns such as rehost, replatform, and refactor.
• Ability to govern identity, network segmentation, logging, backup/DR, and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in RAID management, financial governance, change control, and executive reporting.
• Working knowledge of project tracking systems and Gen AI tools for Delivery Management.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Terraform, containers/Kubernetes (GKE), APIs, integration patterns, and SRE/observability fundamentals.
• Ability to facilitate architecture reviews and explain trade-offs, costs, risks, and migration decisions to business and engineering audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end programme delivery across discovery, assessment, landing-zone readiness, wave planning, migration execution, cutover, warranty, and transition to operations.
• Lead multiple cross-functional and distributed teams; manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive governance.
• Review solution architectures and migration strategies; validate application dependencies, migration waves, security, resilience, performance, and operability.
• Chair migration readiness and technical governance forums; lead Go/No-Go decisions, coordinate cutover, rollback, and business validation.
• Partner with client business, security, infrastructure, application, data, and operations leaders to translate constraints into business impacts.
• Establish delivery metrics including migration throughput, schedule variance, defect leakage, cutover success, availability, performance, cloud spend, and benefits realization.
• Drive adoption of cloud governance and FinOps practices, including policy, tagging, cost allocation, budget controls, rightsizing, and backlog optimization.
• Support presales, estimates, solution shaping, delivery assurance, account growth, and capability development; coach delivery managers and tech leads.
• Use approved enterprise GenAI tools to improve planning, reporting, risk analysis, knowledge mgmt, and stakeholder communication while protecting data/IP.

• Chair migration readiness and technical governance forums such as ARB, WAR etc.; lead Go/No-Go decisions, coordinate cutover, rollback, business validation, warranty, and service acceptance
• Partner with client business, security, infrastructure, application, data, and operations leaders to translate technical constraints into clear business impacts and decisions
• Establish delivery metrics including migration throughput, schedule variance, defect leakage, cutover success, availability, performance, cloud spend, and benefits realization

Requirements

• 9 to 14 years of experience in IT delivery, including 5+ years leading large cloud transformation, application modernization, infrastructure, or migration programmes, along with experience managing multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders, and program execution using Agile & Hybrid methodologies
• Knowledge of GCP resource hierarchy (organizations, folders, projects), IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Cloud KMS, and backup/DR concepts
• Familiarity with migration strategy patterns such as rehost, replatform, and refactor
• Ability to govern identity, network segmentation, key management, logging, vulnerability remediation, backup/DR, business continuity, and regulatory requirements
• Expertise in RAID management, financial governance, change control, and executive reporting
• Working knowledge of project tracking systems (Jira/Confluence/ADO/Project) and usage of Gen AI tools for Delivery Management
