Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing across complex SAP transformation programmes.

You will drive testing excellence, governance and quality while coordinating with Programme Managers, SAP Functional Leads, System Integrators and business stakeholders. The role requires 12+ years of SAP testing leadership, deep technical SAP knowledge and the ability to align testing across SIT, UAT, regression and cutover activities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience leading testing on complex SAP transformation programmes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP Fiori, BW/4HANA or similar SAP solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP testing including SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, Security, Data Migration, Integration, and Cutover testing.
• Experience developing SAP Test Strategies, governance frameworks, and QA processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership across business, technical, and third-party teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce estimates, budgets, schedules and resource plans for SAP testing activities.

Life on the Team

Computacenter's GIS business unit is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Test Manager to lead the delivery of testing across complex SAP transformation programmes. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of SAP testing activities, ensuring quality, governance and successful delivery across multiple concurrent projects. Working closely with Programme Managers, SAP Functional Leads, System Integrators and business stakeholders, you will drive testing excellence while embedding consistent testing standards across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Produce accurate estimates, budgets, schedules and resource plans for SAP testing activities.
• Monitor delivery against agreed timelines, budget, quality standards and governance.
• Manage testing risks, dependencies and changes, escalating where appropriate.
• Provide regular reporting on budget, effort, progress and test readiness.

Test Planning (30%)

• Develop SAP Test Strategies and Test Plans covering SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, Security and Cutover testing.
• Define test scope, environments, data, entry/exit criteria and requirements.
• Review SAP business and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
• Coordinate business SMEs, SAP Functional Consultants and delivery teams to ensure testing readiness.

Test Execution (50%)

• Lead end-to-end SAP testing across integrated business processes and multiple workstreams.
• Manage test execution, defect triage, quality reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to validate SAP functionality, interfaces, integrations, data migration and business processes.
• Drive defect resolution, manage testing risks and provide governance reporting throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support cutover planning, dress rehearsals, production readiness and go-live activities.

Project Closure (10%)

• Produce End of Test Reports and obtain formal business sign-off.
• Ensure all test assets and evidence are stored within approved Test Management tools (e.g. SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Spira).
• Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
• Support transition into Hypercare and Business-as-Usual support.
• 12+ years' experience leading testing on complex SAP transformation programmes.
• Experience managing SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP Fiori, BW/4HANA, or similar SAP solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP testing, including SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, Security, Data Migration, Integration, and Cutover testing.
• Experience developing SAP Test Strategies, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership experience across business, technical, and third-party teams.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Spira, ALM/Quality Center, Jira, or equivalent Test Management tools.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid delivery methodologies, and TMMi or similar quality frameworks.

Qualifications & Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL).
• SAP Activate or SAP S/4HANA certification.

Additional Requirements

• Experience delivering global SAP programmes across multiple regions.
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed testing teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP release management, transport management, cutover, and Hypercare.
