Qualifications

• 15+ years in software testing with a minimum 5+ years in SAP projects.
• Hands-on SAP Solution Manager experience in test management.
• Experience with SAP modules and integration points.
• Knowledge of Tosca automation and Tosca Fundamentals AS1/AS2.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing for SAP implementations and roll-out projects.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with timelines and business needs.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager for planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.

• Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for Test Automation to improve efficiency.

Job Description for SAP Test Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager with over 15 years of expertise in software testing, including significant exposure to SAP implementation and roll-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with SAP Solution Manager for managing end-to‑end test lifecycle activities. This role demands strategic planning, coordination across multiple teams, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality SAP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to‑end testing activities for SAP implementation and roll‑out projects.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test schedules aligned with project timelines and business requirements.
• Drive and oversee all testing phases: System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for test management tasks such as test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage across modules like SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.
• Define and monitor key metrics for test progress, quality, and performance.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Identify potential use cases for Test Automation (Tosca etc.) to improve efficiency / productivity.
• Engage with stakeholders, business users, and project managers to communicate testing status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Mentor junior QA team members and introduce best practices in testing and test management processes.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in software testing with a minimum of 5+ years in SAP Projects as a Test Manager.
• Proven experience in SAP implementation and roll‑out projects.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), specifically in Test Management functionalities (Test Plan, Test Package, Test Execution, BPCA, CBTA, etc.).
• Basic understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
• Good Knowledge of Automation Tool “Tricentis Tosca”, preferably Tosca Fundamentals AS1, AS2 certified
• Solid knowledge of test methodologies, tools, and QA best practices.
• Experience in managing onshore/offshore test teams and delivering in a multi‑vendor environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
