Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Power BI Migration Engineer to execute runbooks and move artefacts between Power BI tenants, validating outcomes and resolving defects with playbooks. You will contribute to wave execution and maintain disciplined evidence capture and ticket updates, ensuring quality throughout migrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years hands-on experience in Power BI tenant-to-tenant migration in production.
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI Service: workspaces, permissions, datasets, reports, and operational issues.
• Experience executing repeatable migration runbooks with strict evidence capture and closure standards.
• Experience with post-migration validation and resolving access, refresh, and missing dependency issues.
• Experience working in shift-based environments with formal handovers and queue/backlog management.
• Strong documentation skills for tickets, handovers, and escalations.

• Resolve standard defects using playbooks; escalate appropriately with complete diagnostics.
• Maintain high‑quality ticket hygiene and evidence capture per wave.
• Participate in shift handovers and ensure work can be continued seamlessly.
• Support reporting: throughput counts, defect categories, recurring issues.
• Provide hypercare support post‑cutover, resolving incidents and contributing to runbook improvements.
