Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to contribute to financial technology implementations across front, middle, and back office workflows. You will translate business and technical requirements into CRIMS configurations and build components aligned with established designs.

The role requires hands-on configuration or development experience, system integration, data processing, and strong SQL skills. Collaboration with global teams and adherence to SDLC standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Investment Management or Capital Markets systems is expected.
• Hands-on experience in application configuration or development, system integration, data processing, reporting or analytics support.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of relevant professional experience in financial technology or enterprise software
• Experience contributing to Investment Management or Capital Markets system implementations
• Hands‑on experience in application configuration or development, system integration and data processing, reporting or analytics support, or capital markets/investment management platforms
• Working proficiency in C#
• Working proficiency in Core Java
• SQL Server querying, joins, and basic performance analysis
• Experience with batch jobs and ETL basics
• AI and agentic/Gen AI efficient usage
• Exposure to ETL or data processing tools such as Pentaho or Talend
• Basic experience with SSRS
• Data validation and reconciliation support
• Exposure to Azure or AWS
• Awareness of industry interfaces such as FIX and SWIFT
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• Strong foundation in object‑oriented programming, databases and SQL concepts, and enterprise application fundamentals
• Clear communication and collaboration skills within project teams
