Job summary

Experian in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Agile professional to lead an engineering team in a hybrid work model. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive delivery across the full software lifecycle.

You will define Epics and break them into user stories, set acceptance criteria and Definition of Done, and facilitate backlog refinement and planning ceremonies to ensure quality and timely releases.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile environments across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience participating in Agile ceremonies such as planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with offshore and distributed teams across cultures.
• Experience writing Epics, User Stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and supporting solution design.

Job description

You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Director Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Agile team in delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to support the full product lifecycle.
• Partner with Product Managers to define Epics and break them down into User Stories.
• Define and maintain acceptance criteria and Definition of Done to support quality delivery.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, estimation, and prioritization activities.
• Manage and maintain the product backlog to ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including Big Room Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinement Sessions, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support continuous improvement by promoting effective Agile delivery practices and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working across the full software development lifecycle within Agile environments.
• Experience participating in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience communicating technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with offshore and geographically distributed teams across different cultures and backgrounds.
• Experience writing Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience analyzing business requirements, identifying issues, and supporting solution design.

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of software development languages and the ability to review and understand code.
