Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 7+ years as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in software/data projects.
• Experience with BI, data analysis, and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specs and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for development and QA teams.
• Convert product roadmap features into technical specifications, including user stories and acceptance criteria.

Technical Business Analyst

As a Technical Business Analyst at IQVIA, you will serve as a vital link between the Product Owner, Stakeholders, and Development QA teams, all focused on the growth and development of offerings within IQVIA's SCION Delivery platform. With an innovative analytical mindset and a strong focus on client needs, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product Owner and stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for development and QA teams.
• Convert product roadmap features into technical specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and integration details.
• Support the product vision and roadmap by providing technical insights and feasibility analysis.
• Perform data analysis and system impact assessments, working with partner teams to ensure accurate and actionable insights.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, offering solutions for complex use cases and integration scenarios.
• Participate in UAT and technical validation, ensuring requirements are met and systems function as intended.
• Monitor and evaluate technical progress, recommending improvements to optimize performance and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate technical impediments to ensure successful completion of sprint and release goals.
• Leverage domain and technical knowledge to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and maximize delivered value.
• Serve as a bridge between business and development teams, ensuring clarity on technical requirements and priorities.
• Track commitments, dependencies, and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
• Understand technical terminology and architecture to ask the right questions and validate solutions effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Around 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst responsible for analyzing business processes and requirements gathering.
• Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in software development or data-driven projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, technical documentation, and process modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and API documentation tools.

Work Arrangements

• Work from the Bengaluru office for 1 to 3 days per week.
