Job summary

Rekise Marine is seeking a Technical Assistant with a strong mechanical background to support our product development and manufacturing operations in Bengaluru. You will work hands-on with the engineering team to ensure autonomous underwater vehicles meet performance and reliability standards, and assist in testing and assembly activities.

The role requires ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2–6 years of workshop experience.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 2–6 years in manufacturing, fabrication or workshop.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in mechanical assembly, fabrication, and maintenance.
• Assist testing, troubleshooting, and quality control of mechanical systems.
• Handle procurement of mechanical parts and manage inventory.
• Support workshop operations including equipment setup and calibration.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with suppliers and clients.

Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in the world's most hostile environments. We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project the Jalkapi XLAUV on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.

We're creating some of the largest autonomous robots in the world, machines with direct impact on the global economy and national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality, and it is possible to build for the world from India.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Assistant with a strong mechanical background to support our productdevelopment and manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll work hands-on with our engineering team toensure our autonomous underwater vehicles meet the highest performance and reliability standards. Key Responsibilities

• ● Provide technical support in mechanical assembly, fabrication, and maintenance of autonomous

Required Qualifications

• ● Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
• ● Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
• ● Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ● Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Preferred Experience

• ● Experience in marine, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments
• ● Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation
• ● Candidates based in Bengaluru are preferred
