We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Technical Manager to lead our engineering team and drive development across our web applications built using Laravel, PHP, React.js, and Node.js, all running on AWS infrastructure. This role demands both technical leadership and active coding, with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, and cloud‑native architecture. You will play a key role in shaping our technical direction, ensuring code quality, and mentoring the development team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership (Hands‑On)

• Contribute actively to the codebase in at least two of the following: PHP, React.js, Node.js.
• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and performant applications.
• Perform in-depth code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure clean, maintainable code.
• Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, including testing and documentation.

AWS Infrastructure Ownership

• Architect, manage, and optimize solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security on AWS.
• Collaborate with DevOps or take lead on implementing AWS‑based deployment strategies.
• Monitor cost‑efficiency and performance of AWS services.

Team Management & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor developers across front‑end and back‑end teams.
• Conduct regular code walkthroughs, performance reviews, and skills development.
• Promote a high‑performance engineering culture rooted in collaboration and accountability.

Project Delivery & CI/CD

• Plan and oversee sprint execution, task prioritization, and feature delivery.
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for smooth, automated deployments.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure fast and safe releases.

Security & Scalability

• Implement security best practices across development and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure the systems are architected for scalability and future growth.
• Proactively identify and address security risks and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in software development and system architecture.
• Hands‑on coding expertise in at least two of the following: PHP, React.js, Node.js.
• Strong experience with AWS: infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
• Deep understanding of scalable architecture, RESTful APIs, and system integration.
• Strong grasp of application security principles (OWASP, IAM, secure coding, etc.).
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Solid experience with version control systems (Git) and automated testing.
• Excellent communication, decision‑making, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Exposure to frontend performance optimization and accessibility standards.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
