Job summary

NEC Software Solutions (India) is seeking an experienced SAAS Architect to lead Ionic Angular front-end development, PostgreSQL-backed architecture, and end-to-end solution design for client projects. The role emphasizes architecture reviews, modularization, plugin research, and active Agile participation within a global delivery model.

The candidate will work with UK clients, manage onshore-offshore activities, and oversee LOE estimates and documentation while driving reusable, scalable

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in IT.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Technical Architect.
• 2+ years of experience in leadership and/or supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design: collaborate to design and develop mobile/ frontend and backend solutions.
• Architecture Review: conduct reviews and report issues to leadership.
• Code/Module development and enhancements across modules and APIs.
• Agile participation and development status updates.
• Code review via MR/PR and address QA/UAT defects.
• Prepare LOE estimates and project baselines.

Job Description

The SAAS Architect will perform various services as part of projects with a focus on Ionic Angular Front-end development, PostgreSQL and architecture. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Solution Design
  • Collaborate with technical leads on the client's side to design and develop solutions related to Mobile Development and releases
• Architecture Review
  • Conduct architecture reviews, document issues, and provide updates to the client's leadership team.
• Code Modularization
  • Work on modularizing and containerizing the code for reusability and scalability.
• Research and Solutions
  • Perform research to identify solutions, such as plug-ins for Excel input, Word, and PDF.
• Development and Enhancements
  • Enhance modules, workflows, forms, APIs, and implement new features in collaboration with the client-side team.
• Agile Participation
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide development status updates.
• Code Review and Defect Resolution
  • Submit code for code review through merge requests/pull requests and address code review comments until approvals are obtained for merging.
  • Address defect resolutions from Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed.
  • Support the creation of test cases and produce technical documentation.
  • Conduct research activities assigned to enhance features and integration with plug-ins.
  • Perform any actions assigned by the Client lead.
  • Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for tasks as input to project baselining.

Additional Information

• Has worked with UK clients and team (Preferred)
• Has working experience of the onshore – offshore model
• Has experience of commercial awareness in aspects such as revenue recognition and margin management
