Job summary

NEC Software Solutions India in Mumbai invites an experienced Senior SAAS Architect to drive Ionic Angular front-end development and solid architecture for enterprise solutions using PostgreSQL. You will collaborate with technical leads and client teams to design scalable software, modularize code, and explore plugins to enhance productivity.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, provide LOE estimates, document architecture decisions, review code, and ensure quality through QA/UAT support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in software development.
• 4-6 years of experience as a Technical Architect.
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical leads on client-side design and development for Mobile Development and releases.
• Conduct architecture reviews, document issues, and update client leadership.
• Modularize and containerize code for reusability and scalability.
• Research plugins for Excel input, Word, and PDF to enhance capabilities.
• Improve modules, workflows, forms, APIs, and add features with the client-side team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide development status updates.
• Submit code for review via merge requests and address feedback until merged.
• Address defects from QA and UAT phases; maintain detailed documentation.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience.
• 4-6 years of experience as a Technical Architect.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership and/or supervisory position.

Responsibilities

The SAAS Architect will perform various services as part of projects with a focus on Ionic Angular Front‑end development, PostgreSQL and architecture. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with technical leads on the client's side to design and develop solutions related to Mobile Development and releases.
• Conduct architecture reviews, document issues, and provide updates to the client's leadership team.
• Work on modularizing and containerising the code for reusability and scalability.
• Perform research to identify solutions, such as plugins for Excel input, Word, and PDF.
• Enhance modules, workflows, forms, APIs, and implement new features in collaboration with the client‑side team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide development status updates.
• Submit code for code review through merge requests/pull requests and address code review comments until approvals are obtained for merging.
• Address defect resolutions from Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed.
• Support the creation of test cases and produce technical documentation.
• Conduct research activities assigned to enhance features and integration with plugins.
• Perform any actions assigned by the Client lead.
• Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for tasks as input to project baselining.

Additional Information

• Has worked with UK clients and team (Preferred).
• Has working experience of the onshore – offshore model.
• Has experience of commercial awareness in aspects such as revenue recognition and margin management.
