Job summary

NetConnectGlobal in Gurgaon operates hybrid work models and seeks a Senior Technical Architect to lead architecture of enterprise digital platforms. You will shape headless, API-first architectures and design CMS/DXP-based solutions leveraging AEM/Sitecore/Optimizely/Contentful/Drupal, with front-end in React/Angular/Vue/Next.js and back-end in .NET Core/Java/Node.js/Python.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in architecture roles.
• Experience with CMS/DXP platforms (AEM, Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentful, Drupal).
• Strong front-end skills (React/Angular/Vue/Next.js) with TypeScript.
• Backend experience across .NET Core, Java, Node.js or Python.
• Experience designing REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP and exposure to Docker/Kubernetes/CI/CD.
• Security, performance, scalability, and observability are core concerns.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade digital platforms and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CMS/DXP platforms, modern web technologies, cloud architecture, microservices, and composable/headless architectures. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical leadership, architecture governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical design of complex enterprise applications and digital experience platforms.
• Define scalable headless, composable, and API-first architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Design solutions using leading CMS/DXP platforms such as AEM, Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentful, or Drupal.
• Architect modern front-end solutions using React, Angular, Vue, or Next.js with TypeScript.
• Design backend services using .NET Core, Java, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Define and implement REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Design cloud-native solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Establish best practices for Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, performance, scalability, availability, and observability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct architecture reviews, evaluate technology choices, and define technical standards and best practices.
• Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Prepare architecture documentation, technical specifications, solution blueprints, and design decisions.
• Identify technical risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms and architectures.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with at least 5+ years in Architecture roles.
• Strong experience with one or more CMS/DXP platforms :
• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Sitecore

• Drupal
• Strong expertise in Headless, Composable, and API-first architecture.
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, or Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong backend development/architecture experience with .NET Core, Java, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Expertise in REST, GraphQL, Microservices, and Event-driven architecture.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform : Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, scalability, and observability.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good To Have

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled application architecture.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event streaming.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
• Experience designing and managing multi-cloud architectures.
• AEM or Sitecore certification.
• Experience working on large-scale digital transformation or enterprise modernization initiatives.
