Job summary

Skild AI Inc. is seeking a Technical Animator to bring robotic simulations to life.

You will work with the simulation, perception, and autonomy teams to develop high-fidelity motion systems for human and robot avatars, directly supporting model training and evaluation with realistic motion data. The role focuses on building mocap pipelines, collaborating across teams to create believable robot motions, and advancing deep-learning based motion synthesis techniques in a robotics-driven research

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in technical animation, game development, VFX, or simulation.
• Competence in building accurate motion capture systems.
• Strong foundation in rigging, character animation, and physics-based motion systems.
• Familiarity with deep-learning based motion synthesis techniques.
• Background working with humanoid or robotic characters in simulation.
