As a Technical Adoption Manager (TAM), you will serve as a trusted advisor, driving a cross-functional, unified customer experience using your technical, communication, and collaboration skills to help customers achieve their full potential through the consumption and adoption of VMware Cloud Foundation. You will onboard, onboard, adopt and realize business value across the entire customer journey, guiding enterprise customers to rapidly and successfully realize value with Broadcom’s VMware solutions.

In this role, you will interact daily with your assigned customers, manage your schedule and priorities to help customers achieve their goals while maintaining a strong work/life balance, and develop an ongoing relationship with customers to understand technical goals aligned with business outcomes.

Success in the role includes onboarding into the TAM role, engaging with assigned customers, serving as a trusted advisor, driving best-in-class execution, and recommending improvements to customer operations that drive adoption and value. You will develop insights to form a holistic customer strategy and build long-term customer relationships.

During the first year, you will onboard into the TAM role and work with assigned customers, communicating progress through quarterly Business Reviews and driving adoption and value realization.

You will also grow your technical knowledge and soft skills through Broadcom’s quarterly training programs.

Responsibilities
  • Articulate customer goals and connect them to business outcomes; develop a structured engagement plan with the customer.
  • Complete technology assessments, roadmap reviews, deployment guidance, best practices reviews, and day-2 operations guidance.
  • Identify customer use cases and opportunities to further adoption and consumption.
  • Present achievements and customer progress in quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Communicate key topics of VMware by Broadcom’s solutions across all customer levels to drive value and long-term strategy.
  • Develop trusted advisor status with key customer stakeholders and internal teams (e.g., Account Directors, Solution Architects, Partner resources).
  • Collaborate with Broadcom project teams and partner resources to ensure customer success.
  • Maintain and update the customer plan, adjust as needed, and drive to completion.
  • Contribute to the internal TAM community by sharing experiences and learning from peers.
Work & Requirements

The TAM team works with a number of assigned customers over the long term. Activities align to helping customers achieve their desired outcomes rapidly using VMware by Broadcom technology. You will collaborate with the broader team to perform the following:

  • Leverage experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., TAM, Solution Engineer, technology consultant, IT vendor, professional services, or IT team).
  • Map VMware Cloud Foundation solutions to customer business and technical requirements.
  • Apply expertise with VMware Cloud Foundation components (vSphere, vSAN, NSX Networking, VKS, VCF Operations, Fleet Management, VCF Automation, VCF Operations for Networks/Logs, HCX, etc.).
  • Use a TAM playbook, delivery kits, and tools to drive consumption and adoption.
  • Create a Success Plan with objectives/tasks aligned to customer requirements.
  • Deliver technology roadmaps and assessments with desired-state outcomes.
  • Provide solution guidance and best practices to optimize performance.
  • Optimize operations to align with technology goals and priorities.
  • Provide industry insights and benchmarking to realize cost savings and reduce risk.
  • Present and communicate effectively with CxO-level personnel and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional Broadcom teams (consultants, engineers, product management, support).
  • Join Broadcom account teams as a customer advocate, focusing on consumption and adoption success.
  • Work with Partner resources to meet customer needs and outcomes.
  • Maintain visibility of customer plans and drive them to completion.
  • Contribute to the global TAM community with lessons learned.

Experience / Education / Certification

Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 12+ years related experience required. VMware Cloud Foundation Certification (VCP-VCF Administration/Architect, VCAP, or VCP/VCAP Certification on VCF components such as vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VCF Operations, etc.).

Location

Remote: On-site in Mumbai. Travel up to 100% to customer sites in Mumbai region; some out-of-state travel and conferences may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary range is 30 to 40L. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus and equity per plan documents.
