Job summary

EY is hiring a Sr. Consultant – Network Infrastructure to join a global team delivering complex network design and implementation projects. The role requires extensive client-facing delivery experience and hands-on work with modern networking technologies across multiple sites in India.

The candidate should possess strong fundamentals in networking, cloud networking, and security concepts, with excellent communication skills in English to engage with stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/ECE or related field.
• 8–11 years of network consulting, design & implementation experience.
• CCNP/JNCIP/PCNSE certifications preferred.
• Strong OSI/TCP/IP fundamentals and core protocols knowledge.
• Experience with SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud networking & SDN.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE or a related field.
• 8–11 years of experience in network consulting, design & implementation, ideally in a client-facing or project delivery role.
• Professional-level certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or PCNSE are preferred
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: OSI & TCP/IP models, subnetting, Layer 2 & Layer 3 technologies.
• Expertise in core network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, VxLAN, VPNs, etc.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from major vendors.
• Good knowledge of security components like firewall.
• Experience with modern networking concepts like SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud networking & SDN.
• Familiarity with cloud networking in Azure, AWS & GCP.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written & verbal.
