Job summary

EY in India is seeking a Sr. Consultant – Network Infrastructure to lead network design and implementation across multiple client projects and locations, including Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Pune.

The role demands 8–11 years’ of network consulting experience, strong fundamentals, and cloud networking familiarity, with CCNP/JNCIP/PCNSE certifications preferred. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE or a related field.
• 8–11 years of experience in network consulting, design & implementation in client-facing or project delivery roles.
• Professional-level certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or PCNSE preferred.
• OSI & TCP/IP models, subnetting, Layer 2 & Layer 3 technologies.
• Core network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, VxLAN, VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from major vendors.
• Knowledge of firewalls and security components.
• Experience with SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud networking & SDN.
• Cloud networking familiarity in Azure, AWS & GCP.
• Strong English communication — written & verbal.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE or a related field.
• 8–11 years of experience in network consulting, design & implementation, ideally in a client-facing or project delivery role.
• Professional-level certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or PCNSE are preferred
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: OSI & TCP/IP models, subnetting, Layer 2 & Layer 3 technologies.
• Expertise in core network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, VxLAN, VPNs, etc.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from major vendors.
• Good knowledge of security components like firewall.
• Experience with modern networking concepts like SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud networking & SDN.
• Familiarity with cloud networking in Azure, AWS & GCP.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written & verbal.
