Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Lead Data Integration Engineer to drive ETL/ELT initiatives in a data-driven environment. You will architect, develop, and optimize Talend-based pipelines, collaborating with stakeholders and guiding a team of developers.

Candidates should have 7+ years in data integration, strong Talend expertise, and a solid foundation in data warehousing and SQL. This role emphasizes governance, reliability, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Integration/ETL development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration (DI), Talend Big Data, and Talend Administration Center (TAC).
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Talend components including: tMap, tJoin, tAggregateRow, tFileInput/Output, tDBInput/Output, tRESTClient, tJava/tJavaRow.
• Strong understanding of data migration, data transformation, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
