Job summary

YASH Technologies Middle East is seeking a Tech Lead for SnowFlake who will design and implement scalable data platforms. The role requires expertise in Snowflake, Medallion Architecture, data modelling, and end-to-end ETL pipelines across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• 7–10 years overall experience in data engineering or analytics solutions.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake design and development, including data modelling and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and scalable data platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS or Azure).
• Knowledge of data quality, profiling, and governance practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience leading teams or delivering as individual contributor to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure Snowflake data platforms.
• Architect and implement Medallion Architecture for modern data lake solutions.
• Design and maintain Data Vault 2.0 models (Hubs, Links, Satellites, Business Vault).
• Define data standards, modelling guidelines, and governance frameworks.
• Develop Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Optimize workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Configure RBAC, masking policies, and governance controls.
• Proficient Python and cloud experience; support ETL pipelines and job orchestration.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead design sessions, solution reviews, and production support activities.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks (code, docs, tests, data quality).
• Maintain strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience: 7-10 Years

• Strong working experience in Design and development of Snowflake data platform, Medallion architecture & Data Modelling.
• Minimum 5+years of experience in Snowflake, and ability to develop reusable components and Stored procedures.
• Must have hands on experience in any of the cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Strong knowledge in building ETL Pipelines with scalability, Data quality measurement & Data Profiling.
• Ability to deliver the customer requirements and business needs

• Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures and collaborate with management to understand company objectives.
• Work closely with business and dev teams to translate the business/functional requirements into technical specifications that drive Big Data solutions to meet functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on Snowflake.
• Architect and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for modern data Lake solutions
• Design and maintain enterprise Data Vault 2.0 models, including Hubs, Links, Satellites, and Business Vault components
• Define data standards, modelling guidelines, and governance frameworks
• Design and develop Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
• Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Configure role-based access control (RBAC), masking policies, and data governance controls
• Must have working experience on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and Python knowledge is preferable
• Must have working experience in building ETL Pipelines, Data Quality frameworks, Job Orchestrations and Effective Job monitoring Techniques
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead technical design sessions, solution reviews, and production support activities.
• Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and other AI-assisted engineering platforms to improve development efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks including code generation, documentation, testing, data quality checks, and operational support.
• Good communication and presentation skills
