Job summary

Swaas Systems is seeking a Tech Lead (Angular + Node.js) in Guindy, Chennai with 6+ years of IT experience. You will lead frontend and middleware development using Angular, Express, and Angular Material, designing scalable RESTful APIs and ensuring high-quality code.

You will drive code quality, perform reviews, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, high-performance applications with modern cloud tech such as AWS Lambda and Elasticsearch. Strong TS/JS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant IT experience with Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Lead frontend and middleware development using Angular, Node.js/Express, Angular Material.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs with strong API architecture, security, scalability, and performance.
• Strong programming and coding skills in JavaScript/ES6 and TypeScript; drive code quality and standards.
• Perform code reviews, technical assessments, and feasibility studies with cross-team collaboration.
• Drive root cause analysis and complex problem-solving with ownership of solutions.
• Follow professional software engineering practices: unit testing/TDD, Git, CI/CD, and SDLC best practices.
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda, SQS, Redis, Elasticsearch, Linux, and Angular Formly is a plus.

• Lead frontend and middleware development using Angular, Node.js/Express, Angular Material, and related technologies, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and responsive application architecture.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and middleware components, with a strong understanding of API architecture, integration patterns, security, scalability, and performance.
• Demonstrate strong programming and coding skills, including JavaScript/ES6 and TypeScript, with the ability to drive code quality, refactoring, coding standards, and technical best practices across large codebases.
• Perform code reviews, technical assessments, and feasibility studies, collaborating with multiple teams to evaluate solutions, adopt suitable technologies, and ensure high-quality technical deliverables.
• Drive root cause analysis and complex problem-solving, identifying permanent solutions for critical technical issues while taking ownership of technical solutions and delivery.
• Follow professional software engineering practices, including unit testing/TDD, Git/source control, CI/CD, code reviews, and SDLC best practices, with a strong focus on application reliability and maintainability.
• Work with cloud and modern technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. Knowledge of AWS Lambda, SQS, Redis, Elasticsearch, Linux, and Angular Formly is an added advantage.
