Job summary

Geidea Egypt Engineering team is seeking an experienced .NET Lead to create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support, while leading a .NET scrum squad within Geidea Egypt Engineering team, based in Bengaluru.

You will drive software design, implement microservices, write clean code, test and deploy, and mentor the squad in SDLC best practices, CI/CD, and application support across fintech domains.

Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of .NET development experience with 2+ years in a lead role.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year in Angular TS.
• Experience building Web APIs and microservices components.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (minimum 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Product Owners and Test Managers in sprint planning.
• Lead .NET squad to design software and microservices architecture.
• Lead squad to write clean, scalable .NET Core code.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Improve existing software and develop documentation throughout SDLC.
• Provide technical support to users and act as domain expert.

Job description

The purpose of this role is to create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support, along with leading a .NET scrum squad team in Geidea Egypt Engineering team.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership (max of 7 accountabilities not main or daily duties or tasks)

• Liaise with Product Owners and Test Managers in sprint planning.
• Lead .Net squad to produce software design and microservices architecture.
• Lead .Net squad to write clean, scalable code using .NET core.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Improve existing software.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Act as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot software prototypes.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Develop programs for .NET applications.

Must have technical / professional qualifications (knowledge & Skills level of presence in the job (High/Medium/Low))

• 8 to 15 years of .Net development Experience with 2+ experience as Lead Developer.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in Angular TS.
• Experience in Building user interfaces, Web APIs, and micro-services components.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CI/CD.
• Payment \ Fintech experience is a plus.
