Job summary

HDFC Bank is seeking a Sr. Technical Analyst in IT & Digital. You will evaluate and analyze solutions to ensure technical feasibility and IT aspects are covered, and ensure solutions align with IT Strategy principles.

Key duties include requirement analysis, solution architecture evaluation, stress testing, change and release management, and maintaining end-to-end technical documentation. Banking domain experience in wholesale banking is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT roles.
• 2-3 years of software development for business-critical applications.
• Banking domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement and FSD analysis; ensure technical feasibility and IT coverage.
• Validate and prepare TCOs & HLEs for infra requirements; maintain documentation for NSI projects.
• Plan SIT & implementation to prevent downtime; ensure proper test systems per BTG/BSG requirements.
• Assess hardware capacity for enhancements; provide technical vetting and change impact inputs.
• Follow ITPP; perform parallel impact analysis and stay updated on latest tech trends.

Job Purpose

Evaluate and analyze solutions to ensure technical feasibility and IT aspects are covered.
Ensure solutions align with IT Strategy principles.

Job Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis

Participate in requirement and FSD analysis, ensure technical feasibility, cover IT aspects, carry out volume estimations (TBRD), plan and execute stress tests, evaluate/recommend solution architecture, and participate in project planning to ensure adequate IT timeframe and change management coverage.

Documentation

Validate/Prepare TCOs & HLEs for infra requirements, maintain thorough documentation and evidence for NSI projects & enhancements to achieve zero Audit Failures, create and update end-to-end technical documentation for business journeys, document and regularly update interphase and deployment design and topology, and define monitoring and resilience processes for every change.

Testing

Ensure SIT & Implementation is effectively planned for NSI projects & enhancement movement to prevent unplanned downtime during production movement and cooling period, and provision and maintain Test Systems based on BTG/BSG requirements.

Production Movement

Ensure no deployment/integrity related technical failures post-release, and follow and comply with release management.

Change Management

Assess hardware capacity for enhancements, provide technical consultation/vetting, study interface issues, and provide consulting inputs to BSG for impact remediation and inclusion of changes in impacted interface systems.

Best Practices

Ensure ITPP is followed, perform parallel impact analysis to minimize IT risks, analyze latest technology and trends for system improvement, and provide timely escalations for issues/de lays.

Experience Required

Minimum years of Experience: 8 years.

Exposure to banking preferable.
