Job summary

Crisil seeks an experienced business analyst to join the LOB technology team supporting a banking client in Mumbai.

Responsibilities include documenting processes, analyzing workflows, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver requirements and change management across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of Business Analysis experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Derivatives, Trading, and Risk Management systems.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong collaboration across business and technology functions.

• Create, maintain, and enhance business and process documentation, including process flows, controls, data quality frameworks, monitoring procedures, system landscapes, user guides, and audit/compliance artefacts.
• Analyze existing processes and documentation to develop a thorough understanding of business workflows, system dependencies, and operational processes.
• Identify documentation gaps, process inefficiencies, and inconsistencies, and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions, and clarify functional needs.
• Review, assess, and document change requests, ensuring all updates are accurately reflected in project documentation.
• Support end-to-end requirements management, stakeholder communication, change management, and solution delivery activities.

Work Experience:

• 6-8 years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services or Capital Markets environments.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Derivatives, Trading, and Risk Management systems.
• Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation management.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology functions.

Preferred:

• Experience working on regulatory, risk, finance, or front-to-back transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and change management processes.
• Exposure to CPM, data quality, and control frameworks.
