Qualifications

• Strong business analysis experience in banking, capital markets, investment banking, or wealth management.
• Hands-on SQL skills for data extraction, validation, analysis, joins, aggregations, and issue investigation.
• Good understanding of investment products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, structured products, derivatives, or portfolio services.
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle, client lifecycle, KYC/AML, settlements, reconciliation, risk, compliance, and reporting processes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams and tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for investment banking and wealth management applications.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications with front/mid/back office teams.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze data, validate rules, support reconciliations, and investigate issues.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, data mapping, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with development and QA during design, sprints, testing, and defect triage.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders using data insights.

Business Analyst – Investment Banking & Wealth Management

The Business Analyst will act as a bridgebetween business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, and product owners to deliver data-driven solutions across investment banking and wealthmanagement platforms. The role requires strong domain understanding, SQL-based data analysis, requirement gathering, process documentation, and support forsystem enhancements, reporting, and regulatory or business transformationinitiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and documentbusiness requirements for investment banking and wealth managementapplications.
• Work closely with front office,middle office, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams to translatebusiness needs into functional specifications.
• Perform SQL queries to analyzedata, validate business rules, support reconciliations, and investigateproduction or reporting issues.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, userstories, process flows, data mapping documents, and test scenarios.
• Support enhancements related totrade lifecycle, client onboarding, portfolio management, investment products,reporting, settlements, reconciliation, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with development andQA teams during solution design, sprint planning, testing, defect triage, andimplementation.
• Conduct UAT planning andexecution, including test case preparation, stakeholder walkthroughs, andsign-off coordination.
• Identify process gaps,recommend improvements, and support automation or digital transformationinitiatives.
• Prepare dashboards, reports,and presentations for stakeholders using business and data insights.
