Cerebra in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Teamcenter PLM QA / Test Architect to lead quality engineering, test strategy, automation, and integration testing for Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementations and upgrades.

The role demands strong Teamcenter knowledge, end-to-end testing expertise, and hands-on ability to validate integrations with SAP, ERP, MES, CAD systems and middleware. You will mentor QA teams, define QA governance, and drive release readiness.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter PLM QA / Test Architect to lead quality engineering, test strategy, automation, and integration testing for Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and support releases.

The ideal candidate should have strong Teamcenter functional knowledge, expertise in end-to-end testing and automation strategy, and experience validating integrations with SAP, ERP, MES, CAD applications, and middleware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall QA and test automation strategy for Teamcenter PLM implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and support releases.
• Lead Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, and Production Validation.
• Manage the complete test lifecycle, including test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, reporting, quality gates, and release sign-off.
• Develop scalable and reusable automation frameworks and drive automation coverage for critical PLM business processes.
• Validate Teamcenter integrations with SAP, ERP, MES, CAD applications, middleware, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Ensure test coverage for BOM Management, Product Structure, Change Management, Workflow Management, Lifecycle Management, Configuration Management, and Release Management.
• Establish test data strategies, coordinate test environment readiness, and maintain requirements traceability.
• Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, resolution tracking, and defect leakage prevention.
• Monitor quality metrics, release risks, dependencies, and readiness criteria.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, integration teams, and release managers.
• Mentor QA leads, automation engineers, and functional testing teams.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM and PLM business processes.
• Experience in QA Strategy, Test Strategy, Test Architecture, and Test Lifecycle Management.
• Expertise in Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Good understanding of Teamcenter BOM, Product Structure, Change Management, Workflows, and Lifecycle Management.
• Experience in Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) testing and validation of user workflows.
• Experience in PLM integration testing with SAP, ERP, MES, CAD systems, or middleware.
• Experience in automation strategy and framework design using Selenium, Playwright, UFT, or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of API testing, REST/SOAP services, and integration validation.
• Experience in test governance, defect management, quality metrics, and release readiness.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NX, Creo, CATIA, or other CAD integrations.
• Exposure to Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Experience in Teamcenter implementation projects, upgrades, migrations, and production support releases.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, STLC, risk-based testing, and requirements traceability.
