Team Member - Valuation & IFRS

We are seeking an analytical and motivated Actuarial Valuation and IFRS 17 Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in general insurance reserving. This is a hands‑on role focused on reserving IFRS 17, regulatory filing, IT development support, and cross‑functional collaboration with finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support valuation and IFRS 17 of health and personal accident insurance products.
• Prepare IFRS 17 financials from the actuarial perspective.
• Assist in IRDAI reporting quarterly and annually.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure alignment on assumptions.
• Stay updated with regulatory guidelines and market trends.

Stakeholder Relationships

• Finance Team – Once a week – Exchange and validation of information; Prepare action plans on deviations or findings.
• IT / MIS Team – Periodic – Data related issues and automation requirements.
• Claims Team – Once a week – Identify trends or changes in claims processes / fraud model / data collection; discuss findings and work toward correcting them.
• Underwriting (Group and Retail) – Once a week – Identify changes in practices / data collection; discuss findings and help correct them.
• Senior Management – Twice a month – Share findings and derive desired outcomes and actionable insights.
