Upman Placements in India is seeking a Head of Reserving, IFRS and Regulatory Reporting to lead end-to-end reserve estimation and IFRS 17 reporting across lines of business.

The role involves managing IFRS 17 system rollout (OFSAA), preparing actuarial reserves, and coordinating regulatory reporting with auditors and regulators. You will drive data integrity and process automation to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• IFRS17 reporting and Group reporting activities.
• Manage IFRS 17 system rollout (OFSAA).
• Prepare, analyse, and communicate the actuarial reserves for various lines of businesses.
• Local regulatory reporting activities including IndAS 17/IFRS17.
• Maintain and enhance actuarial reserving models to ensure data integrity and model accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain actuarial documentation.
• Respond to queries from auditors and regulators.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reserving and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
