Job summary

Kotak Mahindra Bank is seeking a Team Member – Real Estate Valuation /M3-M4 in Mumbai. The role concentrates on analyzing real estate securities offered for lending, auditing external valuation reports, and supporting risk management of the real estate portfolio.

You will monitor and ratify project valuations from internal and external sources, provide technical support to bank verticals, and conduct independent valuation work in line with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Qualifications

• BE (Civil) or B. Arch with 10–15 years of experience in real estate valuations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing real estate securities offered for lending; assess risks, advantages and disadvantages.
• Auditing external vendor valuation reports and ensuring quality.
• Monitoring/ratifying project valuations from bank internal and external vendors.

• Analyzing the real estate securities being offered for lending in terms of the potential risks, advantages / disadvantages.
• Auditing of external vendor valuation reports and maintaining quality of external vendor reports.
• Monitoring / Ratifying Project valuations (both bank internal and external vendors)
• Monitoring credit risks in terms of the banks real estate portfolio.
• Providing professional technical support to the various verticals of the bank.
• Undertaking independent valuation work.

Job Requirement

BE (Civil) / B.(Arch), with 10 to 15 years of experience in real estate valuations (within reputed private valuation firms or banks or nbfcs)

• Well versed with valuation methodologies.
• Acquainted with the real estate market regulatory norms and developments.
• Acquainted with technical due diligence of under construction projects.
