Job summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking an experienced Capex Project Engineer for our Hyderabad manufacturing network.

You will lead electrical, instrumentation and mechanical modifications for process equipment, ensure GMP compliance and drive project management across internal teams and contractors. The role requires 5–10 years in pharma or chemical engineering, a BTech or Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation, strong vendor management, and adherence to SHE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification: B tech/Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Minimum work experience: 5 to 10 years of experience.
• Project management experience in pharma/OSD environment.
• Engineering standards in Pharma industry.
• Stakeholder collaboration & Change management.
• Vendor management.
• SHE & Regulatory guidelines.
• Knowledge on GMP requirements.
• Negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Experience of Capex proposal, execution and commissioning of equipment or facility in an OSD manufacturing unit.
• Implement Electrical, Instrumentation & Mechanical-related modifications, upgrades, and developmental activities for process equipment.
• Adhere to GMP regulations and DrReddy's QMS systems during projects execution.
• Ensure schedule adherence & QMS documentation for all projects and modifications.
• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders in Production, Quality, Supply chain, Procurement & SHE.
• Vendor management & adherence to contractor safety management guidelines.
• Ensure MOC & PSSR during project implementation.
• Ensure All-time readiness for audit.
• Need based technical support to Process engg, HVAC, utility for breakdown & preventive maintenance activities
