Job summary

Relx Plc is seeking a Team Manager – Credit/Collections to lead a global accounts receivable and collections program from Gurgaon. You will drive cash flow optimization, ensure policy compliance, and develop high-performing teams while partnering with Sales and Customer Service to remove collection barriers and improve customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong credit risk management, dispute resolution, and SOX controls, with a focus on reducing DSO and enhancing overall financial governance

Qualifications

• Professional Credit, Finance, or Accounting qualification preferred.
• Experience in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Credit management.
• Experience leading people managers, supervisors, and/or team leads.
• Experience working within a multinational shared services or global business services environment.
• Strong knowledge of collections operations, aging management, dispute resolution, and credit risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Collections Supervisors, Team Leads, and/or Collection Specialists.
• Drive achievement of collection targets, DSO reduction, cash collection goals, aging management, and dispute resolution objectives.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs and SLAs and implement corrective action plans.
• Oversee collection activities for assigned regions, business units, and portfolios with timely follow-up.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to remove barriers to collections and ensure effective dispute management and root cause analysis.
