WSP in Dadri, India is seeking a lead for their GCC UK Building Structures team, focusing on high-quality design and documentation for projects. The role encompasses team management, project delivery, and development of GCC capabilities, with an emphasis on technical excellence.

Lead GCC UK Building Structures team, delivering high-quality analysis, design, and documentation for building structures projects across UK region. Drive technical excellence, team development, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement while supporting the growth of GCC capabilities.
Lead and manage a team of structural engineers, technicians, and BIM professionals.
Allocate resources, monitor workloads, and ensure timely project delivery.
Mentor team members and develop technical and leadership capabilities.
Conduct performance reviews and support career development plans.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Project Delivery
Deliver structural engineering projects in accordance with client requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.
Coordinate with regional project managers, discipline leads, and design teams.
Monitor project progress, risks, budgets, and resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with relevant design codes and company procedures.
Technical Excellence
Provide technical guidance on reinforced concrete, steel, composite, and foundation design.
Review structural calculations, reports, drawings, and BIM models.
Support innovation, standardization, and digital engineering initiatives.
Promote best practices in structural analysis and design.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary GCC contact for the UK Structure team.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Participate in project reviews, technical discussions, and client meetings.
Support business development and capability presentations when required.
Capability Development
Develop GCC capability in building structures, including steel and high-rise building design.
Identify training needs and implement structured learning programs.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
Drive continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Drive to increase the Professional Development of team
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
15+ years of experience in structural engineering and project delivery.
Experience leading engineering teams in a GCC, consultancy, or design environment.
Strong knowledge of international design codes (Eurocodes, British Standards, ACI, IBC, etc.).
Chartered Engineer status or progress toward professional accreditation preferred.
Technical Skills
Structural analysis and design of concrete and steel buildings.
Experience with software such as ETABS, SAFE, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot Structural Analysis, and Revit.
Understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
