Job summary

Paytm seeks a results-driven sales leader to expand QR & Soundbox adoption across merchant networks. You will drive distribution growth, recruit and mentor a sales team, and determine market coverage plans across multiple locations. The role requires travel and a strong drive to meet targets.

You will coordinate with field teams, monitor performance, and ensure quality in activations and sales while building relationships with merchants for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Extensive QR & Soundbox deployment and sale to merchants.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to drive business in market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and applies new ideas.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for Field Sales Executives (FSE).
• Communicate plans and targets to the team to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as per management.
• Validate acquisitions and sales through audits.
• Ensure the team operates where sales and usage occur regularly.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the specified area.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share through merchant onboarding and active promotion.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve targets and improve metrics.
• Plan and map markets, geographies, and coverage for the sales force.
• Communicate plans, targets, and updates to the team effectively.
• Monitor quality and audit deals and activations to ensure compliance.

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly
• Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
