Job summary

Paytm Payments Services in India seeks a dynamic sales lead to grow POS/EDC distribution across multiple locations. The role focuses on expanding merchant partnerships, leading a field sales team, and driving revenue in a fast-paced payments ecosystem.

You will recruit, coach, and develop the sales force, plan market reach, and ensure targets and quality standards are met. Willingness to travel extensively is essential to cover the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility and accountability through extensive POS/EDC deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Coach and mentor the sales team; quick learner who grasps and applies new ideas.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Communicate plans/targets to the team to minimize the gap between expectations and delivery.
• Monitor the quality parameters as suggested by management.
• Validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure team members are in markets where sales and usage are regular.
• Demonstrate strong networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively in the area.

About the team:

Medium Merchant Business verticals include digital payment enablement at all Dairy outlets and its ecosystem, and other

retail business. This team is predominantly responsible for handling end-to-end sales and operations

of this category.

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of POS/EDC through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements:

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility Accountability through Extensive POS/EDC deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly 10. Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
