Job summary

Paytm, India's leading mobile payments and financial services company, seeks a field sales professional in Jammu & Kashmir to drive QR and Soundbox adoption across merchants. You will work across multiple locations to expand distribution and market share.

The role requires a graduate, strong leadership, and a growth mindset, with the ability to coach a sales team, plan market coverage, and travel as needed to reach targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate with good communication and field sales exposure.
• Experience with QR payments or fintech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow QR and Soundbox distribution across assigned merchant locations.
• Increase market visibility through widespread deployment and product sales.
• Identify and recruit a local sales team.
• Coach and mentor team; quickly translate learnings into action.
• Plan market size, coverage and geography for the field sales executive.
• Communicate plans and targets clearly to keep delivery aligned.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate acquisitions and sales through audits.
• Ensure field presence where sales and usage occur; willingness to travel.

About the team:

retail business. This team is predominantly responsible for handling end-to-end sales and operations

of this category

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/ Requirements:

1. 1. Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
2. 2. Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
3. 3. Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
4. 4. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
5. 5. Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
6. 6. Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
7. 7. Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
8. 8. Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
9. 9. Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly 10. Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
